What does the Bible say about Truth?

Exodus 20:16 (NKJV) “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

Deuteronomy 32:4 (NKJV) He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.

1 Kings 17:24 (NKJV) Then the woman said to Elijah, “Now by this I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is the truth.”

Psalm 119:97–100 (NKJV) Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, Because I keep Your precepts.

Psalm 119:142 (NKJV) Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And Your law is truth.

Psalm 119:160 (NKJV) The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.

1 John 4:5–6 (NKJV) They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
