As a pastor who has been serving the church since 1999, my heart is deeply invested in encouraging and equipping leaders within the ministry.
Through the “Ministry” section of my blog, I aim to share insights and guidance on serving with a pastor’s heart, embracing changes, overcoming adversities, and the importance of spiritual gifts such as exhortation and service. It’s a space dedicated to supporting those called to lead, helping them to navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with their high calling.
The “Grief” section of my blog began as a means to process and share the profound loss of my son, Eddie, who went to be with Jesus suddenly and tragically on May 27, 2013. This space has grown into a sanctuary for others navigating their way through the valleys of mourning and despair. Here, I share insights and encouragements, hoping to offer some solace and guidance on walking this difficult path with faith. Through topics like navigating discouragement, trusting God in desperate times, and dealing with thoughts of suicide, I aim to reach out to those who are struggling, reminding them that they are not alone in their grief.
