Genesis 35:2–3 (NKJV) And Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, “Put away the foreign gods that are among you, purify yourselves, and change your garments. Then let us arise and go up to Bethel; and I will make an altar there to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and has been with me in the way which I have gone.””

Joshua 1:9 (NKJV) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.””

2 Samuel 22:7 (NKJV) In my distress I called upon the Lord, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple,And my cry entered His ears.”
